Emails are an important part of the User Experience. We must ensure all email alerts and notifications have consistent branding and visual elements.
Anatomy of an email
From
The user must tell if it is real. It must look trustworthy. The ‘From’ email address must be clearly from C2P.
Subject
The user must know why they are receiving an email. This should be part of the subject e.g. ‘Task: You have been assigned a task’.
Action
The user must know what to do next. This will be contained in the body of an email. Content should be broken up into clearly defined sections.
